Job summary

ARCH Global Precision is seeking a CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts in a safety-conscious environment. You will study work orders and blueprints to determine machining parameters, interpret geometric tolerances, and maintain accurate logs and records.

Responsibilities include stock planning, loading machines, verifying first-run parts, and ensuring specifications are met while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine parameters.
• Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances and sets up CNC operations.
• Plans stock inventory and anticipates needed stock to maintain production flow.
• Loads machine, verifies settings, and maintains quality logs.
• Maintains safety and records production and quality data as required.
