Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a high-precision CNC shop, directing scheduling, workflow, and personnel in the Solon, Ohio facility. You will drive Lean improvements, mentor CNC machinists and programmers, ensure quality output per GD&T, and collaborate with engineering to optimize processes while enforcing safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in a precision CNC manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in multi-axis CNC machining, setup and process optimization.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Strong background in Lean manufacturing and process improvement strategies.
• Demonstrated success in managing production teams and shop floor operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management for multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean methodologies to minimize waste and maximize machine utilization.
• Oversee the technical development of CNC machinists and programmers to ensure high-quality output and adherence to tight tolerances.
• Analyze KPIs to drive profitability and operational efficiency across the facility.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to refine machining processes and ensure seamless production transitions.
• Enforce strict safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Manage personnel performance, training initiatives, and staffing requirements to meet project deadlines.
