Accelera is seeking a CNC Machining Specialist to serve as a technical anchor on the production floor, ensuring complex parts are manufactured to exact specifications using CNC mill and lathe operations. You will optimize workflows, minimize downtime, and drive high-quality output in a fast-paced environment while mentoring machine operators.

Qualifications

• Proven background in CNC setup within a high-precision manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience configuring CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment.
• Deep understanding of feeds, speeds, and complex tooling selection.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configure CNC machinery by installing fixtures and verifying programs to ensure seamless production transitions.
• Execute precise tool changes and adjustments to maintain strict dimensional tolerances and superior part quality.
• Analyze technical blueprints and engineering drawings to translate design requirements into successful machining processes.
• Perform comprehensive first-piece and in-process inspections using advanced hand metrology to guarantee product integrity.
• Resolve complex machining and tooling challenges to maximize operational efficiency and throughput.
• Provide technical mentorship to machine operators to foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Document setup parameters and process changes to ensure consistency across all production runs.
