Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a CNC Milling Setup/Machinist to setup and operate complex (4 and 5 axis) jobs on MAZAK, HAAS, or CHIRON mills in Warminster, PA. You will ensure parts meet quality standards and handle first-piece approval before handing off to operators.

A successful candidate will have at least 2 years of setup experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years setup experience (MAZAK, HAAS, CHIRON preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set-up jobs, as scheduled, to run on our MAZAK, HAAS or CHIRON milling machines.
• Follow established manufacturing processes and procedures; coordinate with programmer for accuracy of instructions.
• Responsible for first piece approval and machine hand-off; train/oversee multiple operators.
• Ensure cycle times meet or exceed expectations and make necessary tool/offset edits.
• Inspect deburred parts using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Operate machines between setups and address non-conformities per procedures.
• Document inspection data and ensure a safe, clean work area.
