Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a CNC Milling Setup/Machinist to set up and run 4- and 5-axis jobs on Mazak, Haas, and Chiron mills. You will ensure first article approval and hand off to operators, while training others as needed.

The role emphasizes tight quality, efficient cycle times, and accurate measurement with gauges and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documentation.
• Minimum 2 years setup experience on MAZAK, HAAS, CHIRON (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up jobs as scheduled on MAZAK, HAAS or CHIRON milling machines.
• Work with programmers to ensure accuracy of setup and job instructions.
• Responsible for first piece approval and machine hand-off; train/oversee operators.
• Improve cycle times through offsets, speed/feed adjustments, and tool life optimization.
• Inspect parts for conformance using gauges, micrometers, calipers, comparators, and microscopes.
• Operate machines between setups and document inspection data.
