You will train operators, optimize cycle times, read drawings, and maintain a safe, organized shop floor. Candidates should have at least 2 years of setup experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and documents.
• Minimum 2 years setup experience on MAZAK, HAAS, CHIRON preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs on MAZAK, HAAS or CHIRON milling machines.
• Work with programmers to ensure accurate work instructions.
• Responsible for 1st piece approval and hand-off to operators.
• Aim to optimize cycle times and tool life through offsets and edits.
• Inspect parts with gauges and calipers to meet specs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Document inspection data and outcomes.
