Markent Personnel is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setup/Machinist in the Bucks County area to set up and run complex 4- and 5-axis parts on Mazak, Haas, or Chiron mills. You will verify part conformance and perform 1st piece approvals before handing off to operators.

This role emphasizes precision, adherence to processes, and the ability to train other operators. Strong reading of mechanical drawings, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to optimize cycle times and maintain safe,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years setup experience on Mazak, Haas or Chiron.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documents.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical/mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs on Mazak, Haas or Chiron milling machines.
• Work with the programmer to ensure accuracy of setup instructions.
• Responsible for 1st piece approval and machine hand-off.
• Aim to optimize cycle times and tool life.
• Make offsets, speed/feed and edits as needed to improve cycle time.
• Inspect deburred parts with gauges, calipers and other measuring tools.
• Operate machines as required between setups.
• Follow procedures to address non-conformities.
• Document Inspection data and results as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
