Job summary

Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to set up, operate, and optimize multi-axis CNC mills, grinders, and lathes to produce precision components in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with 7 years' related experience; CNC certification preferred; able to read blueprints, perform inspections with calipers and micrometers, and work in a team following lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with strong related experience.
• Seven years of related CNC/machining experience required.
• CNC certification or tooling certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic English.
• Robust math and computer skills; capable of visual quality inspections.
• Team-oriented, able to follow work instructions and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and optimize multi-axis CNC mills, grinders, and lathes.
• Run production jobs per instructions to produce quality parts.
• Inspect parts with calipers/micrometers and log inspection data.
• Read work orders/blueprints to verify specs and BOM accuracy.
• Adjust programs, feeds, speeds and offsets to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, perform repairs or tooling changes as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and lean 6S standards; rotate as needed.
