Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician III to support manufacturing operations at the Raynham site. The role focuses on developing machining processes for new products, improving tooling strategies, reducing costs, and enhancing production efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with CNC program creation and CNC equipment setup experience required.
• Consistent track record in developing CNC programs for complex geometries.
• 3–5 years experience as Engineering Technician in a regulated/medical device environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling and lathe applications.
• Utilize CAM software such as Unigraphics, SolidCAM, or Mastercam.
• Drive production process design, tooling strategy, and machining optimization.
• Support fixture design, GD&T interpretation, and troubleshooting of complex machining processes.
• Develop and implement process improvements to improve productivity, quality, cycle time, and throughput.
• Spend significant time on the production floor working with Engineering and production staff.
• Collaborate with machinists, NC programmers, and Quality/Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
• Lead cost-reduction and efficiency improvement projects with measurable results.
