Job summary

Technetics Group is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop detailed machining processes, fixtures, and tooling requirements. You will write CNC programs for multi‑axis lathes and mills using Esprit CAM and create SOPs to train operators and ensure robust processes.

Collaborate with shop floor, quality, and engineering to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and manage cost reductions through manufacturability improvements and tooling optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing technology or equivalent is required.
• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering with tooling/fixturing design experience.
• CAD experience, Siemens NX a plus.
• CAM experience with Esprit CAM.
• Strong GD&T skills.
• MS Office proficiency.
• AS9100 knowledge a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• 8-D problem solving knowledge a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and standardize machining processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Develop CNC programs for multi-axis machines via CAM software (Esprit CAM).
• Create SOPs and training guides for CNC machining and processes.
• Collaborate with shop floor to address methods, tooling, and handling issues.
• Provide technical support for jigs, fixtures, and special tools.
