Job summary

A1J Technologies LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve processes for high-precision, close-tolerance components from contract review through first article and production.

You will create complete routings, define operations, tooling, fixturing, and inspection requirements; work cross-functionally with CNC, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Estimating to ensure safe, capable, and cost-effective manufacturing while documenting changes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of manufacturing/process engineering in precision machining or a comparable high-mix environment.
Experience developing manufacturing routings and controlled documentation.
Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, CAD models, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and process documentation.
Collaborate with CNC programming to translate requirements into machining strategies.
Support first article/inspection planning and CAPA activities.
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce setup time, scrap, and cost.
Analyze process performance and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure traceability, CP/CPK analysis, and process capability for critical features.
