Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialized in machining to design, implement, and optimize machining and related processes in a fast-paced production environment. You will support NPI activities, lead process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve root causes and drive operational excellence in part fabrication and assembly.

The role requires hands-on production support, proficiency with CNC, CAD/CAM tools, and ERP/MRP systems, plus a strong emphasis

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related field.
Experience in machining environments and production support.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to resolve production issues with minimal delivery impact.
Lead and guide technicians for first-response troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain machining routes, setup times, and operation sequences in ERP/PLM.
Support ERP/PLM systems for process control and engineering changes.
Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and standard procedures.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and six sigma methods.
Communicate project updates to stakeholders with transparency on risks and results.
Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze variability and apply data analytics for decisions.
Monitor KPIs for quality, inventory, delivery, and safety; participate in CAPA initiatives.
