Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' machinist experience operating CNC machines via apprenticeship, on‑the‑job, or tech/vocational training.
• Minimum 2 years' experience writing and editing advanced CNC programs.
• Able to program and operate multi‑axis CNC machines (4+ axes).
• Experience programming Swiss‑style lathes preferred.
• Proficient in CNC programming and CAM software; Esprit a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering drawings and write CNC programs with tools, speeds, feeds, and sequencing to minimize rework.
• Prove out and revise programs through trial runs and first‑article inspections to avoid production issues.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to meet quality and delivery specs.
• Inspect parts with gages and Faro Arm, keeping quality records per instructions.
