Job summary

The role requires 7+ years in product and project engineering within an industrial setting, strong CAD/CAM skills, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on product and project engineering experience in an industrial operation that includes machining.
• Proficient in 3D CAD/CAM software, especially SolidWorks and Esprit.
• Experience with machining equipment including multi-axis mills and lathes.
• Strong track record delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design engineered systems in SolidWorks, updating 3D models and drawings to meet customer specs.
• Create bills of materials and specs in ERP, ensuring release-ready drawings.
• Develop CNC programs to support efficient manufacturing.
• Serve as SME on engineered systems and nitrogen gas springs; support sales growth.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations and quality to drive process improvements and capital projects.
• Troubleshoot equipment and lead root-cause analysis for long-term solutions.
• Lead internal/external resources on projects; manage safety, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and reliability requirements.
• Mentor team members and co-ops.
• Performs duties as assigned and adheres to Code of Ethics.
