Job summary

Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is seeking a CNC Maintenance Specialist to keep our precision machining facility running at peak performance. You will plan, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on CNC machines and facility systems, lead preventive programs, and ensure safety standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

Certificate or equivalent experience in maintenance or electronics, specifically CNC Milling and Turning equipment.
7 to 10 years of related experience in CNC maintenance.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and eligibility to work with firearms.

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct all maintenance activities for industrial equipment, facilities and systems.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
Lead troubleshooting, repair and replacement of machinery with emphasis on quality and cost efficiency.
Implement and maintain a CMMS program and optimize PM schedules.
Ensure OSHA, environmental and safety standards compliance through inspections and actions.
Manage maintenance inventory, supplies and vendor relationships.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify priorities and plan upgrades.
Contribute to long-term maintenance and facility improvement planning.
