Job summary

Socket.dev in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is seeking a CNC Maintenance Specialist to keep our precision machining facility running at peak performance. You will plan, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on CNC machines and facility systems, aiming to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

You will lead preventive maintenance, collaborate with engineers and production teams, and implement CMMS programs while ensuring safety standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Certificate or equivalent in maintenance or electronics, focused on CNC Milling/Turning equipment.
• 7 to 10 years of related experience in CNC maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues.
• Desirable knowledge of Fanuc CNC control systems and Mazatrol, PLC and HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all maintenance activities for industrial equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting, repair, and replacement on machinery while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Implement and maintain a CMMS program and optimize PM schedules.
• Ensure OSHA, environmental, and safety standards via inspections and corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan upgrades and support process improvements.
• Contribute to long-term maintenance and facility improvement planning, including training.
