Magna in the United States is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and productivity in automotive manufacturing environments.

This role emphasizes minimizing downtime, documenting maintenance activities, and collaborating with production to schedule work with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC maintenance or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, electrical diagrams, and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues affecting CNC operations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex machine malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
• Assist with the installation, calibration, and setup of new CNC equipment and tooling.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and efficiency enhancements.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
