Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to serve as the site electrical and controls SME, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and project support across the maintenance organization at our Morehead, KY facility.

You will lead troubleshooting of complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls equipment, install and repair PLC/HMI/servo systems, and guide maintenance personnel toward reliability improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent; active progression toward degree.
• Demonstrated expert-level electrical and controls troubleshooting capability.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude testing required.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting of complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls-related equipment failures.
• Primary technical resource for electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Lead equipment commissioning, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
• Diagnose and repair PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and industrial control systems.
• Develop maintenance procedures, troubleshooting standards, and technical documentation.
• Mentor, train, and provide guidance to Tech I and Tech II personnel.
• Contribute to root cause investigations and reliability improvements.
• Support contractors, vendors, and engineering resources on projects.
• Maintain equipment records and complete work orders in the CMMS; improve maintenance platform.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Adhere to programs, procedures, and requirements for quality.
• Attend and complete advanced training sessions offered by the Company and vendors.
