Job summary

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks and document results per quality procedures. Team members maintain housekeeping and follow EH&S policies.

The role focuses on setting up, operating, and verifying CNC Swiss machines and actively participating in continuous improvement within a safety‑driven shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent, plus Vo-Tech training in machine tools.
• 2 to 5 years of CNC machining set-up and operating experience in a job shop.
• Very strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and verify CNC Swiss machines handling close tolerances.
• Perform routine operations meeting quality and production standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement; run repeat set-ups with supervision as needed.
• Read drawings/ Traveler instructions; troubleshoot and deburr parts.
• Maintain tooling and conduct quality checks with precision devices.
