Job summary

Alloy Precision Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to manage the setup and operation of Swiss machines on production lines. You will ensure proper tool offsets, read blueprints, and contribute to high-quality output while coordinating with supervisors on production issues.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, 5 years of CNC experience, and the ability to work 1st or 2nd shifts with overtime options. Overtime premiums apply on second shift.

Qualifications

• Five years CNC machining experience on a Swiss machine.
• At least 2 years setting up CNC machines.
• Reading, comprehension, problem solving, and math skills typical of high school completion.
• Completion of a Tech. College in Machining highly desirable.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges and no-go gauges.
• Experience in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall function and set-up of CNC machines running production.
• Provide open communication regarding production and route malfunctions to the appropriate person.
• Help establish best practices to ensure highest quality and output.
• Must operate Citizen Swiss machines, L32, L20 (Mitsubishi controls).
• Read blueprints, set tool offsets, and perform tool changes as needed.
• Program edits and set-ups are a plus.
