Job summary

Cinch Connectivity Solutions is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to join our Machine Shop. You will perform set-ups, modify programs, and operate various Swiss Machines while training and mentoring other machinists to deliver high-quality parts on schedule. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong problem-solving abilities to meet customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in Swiss machining and hold an AAS or Diploma in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires AAS diploma or equivalent in manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years in Swiss machining environment
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required

Responsibilities

• Perform complex setups from programs on multiple machine types to ensure parts conform to prints and specs
• Mentor NIMS Apprentice Students and act as a technical resource for other machinists
• Troubleshoot setups, tooling, and change setup sheets to reduce cycle times and improve quality
• Adjust speeds and feeds, determine program edits, and modify tooling as needed
• Sharpen, grind, and modify tooling; inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools
• Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed
