Job summary

TECOMET in Florida is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining records. The role will involve Swiss 2nd shift with shift differential and opportunities for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with GMP/GDP and 5S. Competitive pay and a team-first culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associates degree/certificate in tooling & machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per instructions.
• Perform difficult CNC work including progressive machining of various parts.
• Change dull tooling and adjust for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Practice safe working to minimize risks.
• Meet productivity targets and seek improvements.
• Record activities in job tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Elevate manufacturing issues to leadership for resolution.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in area.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
