Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to operate and set up CNC machines, producing precision parts per engineering drawings. You will maintain high quality and safety standards, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years of CNC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work on the 2nd shift with shift differential. Join a team committed to continuous improvement and customer-driven innovation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience preferred.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship is preferred.
• UK GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within specified tolerances per work instructions.
• Perform progressive machining of a variety of parts and metals with tight tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets as needed for wear.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Maintain PM schedules and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
