Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, lathes and Wire EDMs. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot programs, adjust tooling and offsets, and ensure quality with OOQ standards across production runs.

The role requires working with precision, maintaining safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. A strong team player with attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Lathes and Wire EDMs to tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints or specifications and interpret technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; adjust offsets and tooling as needed.
• Maintain quality according to OOQ standards using measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and document activities in the tracking system.
• Support continuous improvement and identify manufacturing issues for resolution.
