Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce machined parts by operating CNC equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping detailed records. The role emphasizes adherence to Tecomet’s continuous improvement culture and performance metrics. Swiss 1st Shift.

You will set up and run CNC machines, inspect parts, and participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and setup CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machining including progressive machining of a variety of parts and metals with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make offsets/adjustments for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by working to OOQ standards with measuring equipment and readings.
• Maintain PM schedule and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Conduct basic visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials and products.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Record activities in the job tracking system and support continuous improvement.
