Job summary

Tecomet, Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs and lathes. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and adjust tooling and speeds to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, wires, and lathes per instructions and drawings.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling as part of new setups.
• Perform machining with very close tolerances on various metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes and improve work instructions.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and adhere to GMP/GDP practices.
