Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes to tight tolerances per engineering drawings. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure quality through OOQ standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC mills, wires, and lathes to specs per drawings.
• Read blueprints and evaluate tolerances and surfaces.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and optimize setups.
• Maintain quality using OOQ practices and measuring tools.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S in the work area.
