Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III in Massachusetts to operate, set up, and occasionally program CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDMs while meeting tight tolerances and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, and work with engineering to improve fixtures and processes. A strong focus on quality, documentation, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and a working knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, lathes and wire EDMs within tolerances per work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs and processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment and tooling in good condition.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and proper measuring tools.
• Document activities and report progress to supervisors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and 5S housekeeping.
