Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist III in Massachusetts to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs and lathes. You will read blueprints, maintain quality and safety records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of CNC machining experience, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to train others. The role emphasizes GMP/GDP-like discipline and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate, set up, and maintain a CNC machine.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T where applicable.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and adhere to PM schedule; ensure 5S standards.
• Propose speeds/feeds and tooling changes for different jobs.
• Maintain OOQ quality and document readings accurately.
