TECOMET in Lowell, MA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program high-precision mills and lathes. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and maintain equipment and records to support continuous improvement and on-time production.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsabilidades

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling as part of new setups.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances on various parts and metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; propose improvements.
• Maintain quality through OOQ standards and use measuring equipment.
