Job summary

TECOMET in Beverly, MA seeks an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts on CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and potentially program under supervision, while maintaining safety and quality to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC machining experience, strong math and measurement skills, and a proven track record of on-time, quality production in a GMP-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and CNC lathes.
• Propose new production set ups and adjust tooling.
• Perform complex CNC machining with very close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain production records and update work instructions.
• Assist engineering with fixtures and tooling wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and calibrated measuring equipment.
• Identify and support continuous improvement activities.
