Job summary

TECOMET in West Newton, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and sometimes program CNC mills, wire EDMs and lathes to tight tolerances, following drawings and work instructions.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, ensure GMP practices, read blueprints, document processes, and train junior machinists while meeting safety and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up CNC mills and lathes to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Train junior machinists and document processes.
