Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III in Massachusetts to produce precision parts by operating, setting up, and possibly programming CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot programs, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Candidates will have 5+ years of CNC machining experience and a history of delivering quality, on-time production. The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork within a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDM's, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances following work instructions and in accordance with machine programs and engineering drawings.
• Propose new production set ups and adjust offsets/tooling as part of new setups.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work with close tolerances on various parts and metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work instructions.
• Assist Engineering with fixtures redesign to improve quality and productivity.
