Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate and set up CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes. You may program and read engineering drawings while maintaining quality and safety standards in a high‑growth environment.

You will propose new setups, adjust tooling, and support continuous improvement initiatives. A strong focus on GMP/GDP, 5S, and productive, safe operation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and may program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes per drawings.
• Propose new setups and adjust offsets/tooling as part of the process.
• Perform complex machining with close tolerances and read blueprints.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and improve work instructions.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine PMs, and ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
• Record activities, support continuous improvement, and maintain 5S standards.
• Train new machinists and work safely to meet productivity targets.
