Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDMs. You will read engineering drawings, implement tool changes, and ensure high-precision parts while maintaining OOQ and GMP practices.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of CNC experience, with additional certifications or an associate degree/machinist

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 5+ years CNC Machining experience preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to program with supervision and perform tool changes and offsets.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDMs within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Perform complex CNC machining and ensure very close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Support continuous improvement and document procedures.
• Maintain quality by following OOQ standards and measurement procedures.
• Identify and support safety and housekeeping standards.
