Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
• ACE associate or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3+ years progressive experience as a machine operator.
• Manual dexterity for machine operations.
• Ability to train others.
• Demonstrated program proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision manual and/or computerized machining centers.
• Adjust feeds, spindle speeds, and tooling per machining specifications.
• Read blueprints and specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems and assist with new machining processes.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce COPQ and improve efficiency.
• Inspect products with precision gauges and instruments.
• Train and mentor new operators.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.
• Commit to safety, EHS, and CI guidelines.
• Work overtime and nonstandard hours as needed.
