Job summary

TECOMET is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC machines, following drawings and procedures. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and ensure quality by OOQ standards while maintaining equipment and records.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years CNC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred tooling & machining certification. Safety and continuous improvement are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining preferred.
• UK GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Propose new production setups and tool offsets.
• Maintain quality using OOQ and GMP/DAP standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and documentation.
