Carpenter Technology Corporation in Tanner, AL seeks a Maintenance Machinist Tech to design, develop and implement efficient maintenance processes in line with product specs and quality standards. You will lead safe, routine and non-routine tasks, mentor apprentices, and drive improvements in machine shop operations.

The role requires extensive CNC programming, setup, and interpretation of complex blueprints, with focus on reliability and continuous improvement in a high-precision environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; AS degree in maintenance preferred.
• Journeyman-level CNC programming and machine shop experience.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and perform math analyses.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and inspection equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and perform planned maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Develop and enter CNC programs to meet specs using CAD/CAM.
• Mentor CNC programmers and Apprentices in the program.
• Oversee overhauls, rebuilds, shutdowns and installations.
• Ensure drawings are up to date; implement changes with supervision.
• Coordinate parts, materials, and services through procurement.
