The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and hands-on experience with shop math, blueprints, and various machinery such as

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Vocational school or Machinist Apprenticeship preferred.
Two or more years of experience.
Working knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures.
CNC programming preferred.
Basic knowledge of continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

Operate manual and CNC equipment including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Machining of test specimens and parts as instructed.
Perform daily simple maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment.
Inform supervision of all safety and quality concerns as needed.
Perform other duties as required to support business needs.
