IPEX USA, LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a senior CNC Machinist III. The role focuses on setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes and mills, with emphasis on turning, tooling selection, and process development.

You will lead projects from blueprint review through inspection, train less experienced machinists, and maintain high standards for quality, safety, and productivity in a mid-to-heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with proven CNC experience.
• 7–10 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines with minimal supervision.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and requirements.
• Select tooling, workholding, and cutting parameters.
• Produce precision components meeting tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform advanced machining operations: threading, boring, grooving, contouring, finishing.
• Train and mentor less experienced machinists.
