Job summary

Tecomet is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes, with possible programming. You will read drawings, troubleshoot programs, and ensure quality per GMP/GDP, while maintaining equipment and records in a continuous-improvement culture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC machining experience, strong math skills, and a proven track record of on-time production and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T understanding.
• Commitment to safety, quality and GMP/GDP principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, laths and Wire EDMs.
• Read blueprints and evaluate specifications to ensure tolerances.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; adjust speeds/feeds.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine PM and record activities.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping in the work area.
