Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes in a high-precision environment. You will read blueprints, evaluate specifications, and troubleshoot CNC programs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Strong experience with tooling, offsets, and process improvements will help you contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and meet production targets on time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED requirement.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes and improve work instructions.
• Maintain safety and GMP/GDP practices and quality records.
• Propose new setups, adjust offsets, and support continuous improvement.
