Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes to tight tolerances on metal parts. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and collaborate with Engineering to improve fixtures and productivity.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC experience, strong math skills, and a commitment to GMP/GDP practices. You will contribute to continuous improvement and maintain accurate records in our tracking system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances.
• Propose new production set ups and changes offsets/tooling in machines.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work with close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work instructions.
• Assist Engineering with redesigning fixtures to increase quality and productivity.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Record activities in job tracking system.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
