Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation seeks a CNC Machinist III in Newark, CA to set up and operate CNC equipment, ensuring parts meet engineering specifications and first-pass quality. You will train junior machinists, troubleshoot setups, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years’ progressive CNC setup/operation/diagnostics experience.
• AS9100 environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specs.
• Strong measuring skills with calipers, micrometers, height gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC production equipment per approved programs.
• Make minor/major changes to fixturing and offsets to meet specs.
• Mentor CNC Machinist I/II and ensure first-piece accuracy.
• Troubleshoot setups and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clean work area and proper tool maintenance.
• Log operations and report non-conformances to supervisor.
