Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist III in Newark, CA to set up and operate CNC production equipment per approved programs. You will train CNC Machinist I/II, troubleshoot setups, and ensure parts meet drawing and workmanship standards while adhering to safety policies.

The role emphasizes quality, proper inspection, and maintaining a clean, organized work area; experience with AS9100 is preferred and you must be able to read blueprints. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years progressive CNC setup and operation experience.
• AS9100 experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Able to use calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery per program.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to drawings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Log production data and reports as required.
• Troubleshoot setups and mentor junior machinists.
