Job summary

You will polish valve components, rough in-house fabricated parts and machine flanges to tight specs, reading complex drawings and applying advanced measuring tools.

Mentoring junior machinists is included. Eligible candidates bring 3+ years as a certified machinist, familiarity with shop math, and a strong safety mindset; travel and background checks

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret complex part drawings.
• Experience with ASME/quality standards and machining costs.
• Minimum 3 years as a certified machinist; able to train others.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operation of turning and milling equipment for critical tasks.
• Mentor junior machinists and support training initiatives.
• Conduct final quality inspection on machined components.
• Determine machining requirements for complex projects.
• Potentially assume Field Supervisor duties.
