Job summary

Duravant is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate production CNC machines including lathes and mills. You will read 3D models and blueprints, adjust tools, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include writing CNC programs, verifying dimensions with precision tools, and training fellow operators. A strong CAM software background and experience with CAMWorks, Fusion 360, or Mastercam are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and setup sheets.
• Ability to write simple to complex CNC programs at machine level.
• Familiarity with CAM software CAMWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, routings, layouts, and setup sheets.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal mills.
• Write and adjust CNC programs, set tool offsets, and verify results.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools for tolerances.
• Provide training to other CNC cell employees.
