Job summary

Talnt is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and support CNC machining programs for precision manufacturing. You will collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to create efficient processes, reduce cycle times, and ensure high-quality components are produced safely and consistently.

You will read blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models, select tooling and machining parameters, support setup personnel, and verify programs through simulations and first article

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes using CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Esprit, or similar.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds and speeds, and tight-tolerance manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting machine setups, proving out new programs, and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Maintain programming documentation, setup sheets, tooling lists, and revision control.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

About the Role

This CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC machining programs for precision manufacturing.   • Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
