Qualifications

• Must be proficient in setup, operation and maintenance of CNC Lathe and CNC Vertical Mill (5, 4 and 3 axis).
• Must read blueprints and technical instructions; interpret tool offsets and wear offsets.
• Strong in changeover, fixtures, datum offsets and indicators; monitor wear on cutting tools.
• Maintain clean work area, coolant and lubrication; use refractometer.
• Meet or exceed production quotas; follow safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to cross-train and mentor other operators.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machines to fabricate components.
• Inspect parts and ensure tolerances meet specifications; document results.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and work with programmers for adjustments.
• Train CNC operators and machinists; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and tooling changes.
