Job summary
Tiffany & Co. in Cumberland, RI seeks a senior technical leader to own CNC manufacturing, multi-axis programming, and end-to-end workflow execution.
You will coordinate interfaces between manufacturing and support groups to establish efficient sequences and economical tooling, while translating CAD/CAM data into production-ready processes. Responsibilities span the product lifecycle: developing and maintaining CNC programming, supporting NPI, updating legacy programs, and scaling from prototype
Qualifications
- 10+ years with strong CNC machining background.
- Experience spanning programming, fixturing, tooling, documentation, inspection, and training.
- Milling operations: 3-, 4-, and 5-axis setup, programming, operation.
- Turning operations: multi-axis turning centers setup, programming, and operation.
- CAM & CAD: Mastercam and CAD software expertise (SolidWorks preferred).
- Specialized machining and controls: micromachining; familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
- Quality and GD&T experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CNC programs and manufacturing processes for new products.
- Collaborate with CAD developers to apply DFM principles.
- Design and implement fixtures for safe, repeatable production.
- Define tolerances and manufacturing requirements with Engineering.
- Create and maintain tooling lists and machining strategies.
- Evaluate manufacturability to improve quality, cost, and throughput.
- Support transitions of new product launches into production; train operators.
